When Hollywood movie stars have children they seem to end up making kid’s films. In fact it seems when any celebrity these days has a child they write the obligatory kid’s book. So what happens when a couple of music producers end up having a child, do they end up producing children's music? Well in this case they end up creating the instruments to teach a child the skills to produce their own.

Introducing My First Studio, an ever growing suite of iPad / iPhone musical applications geared for children of varying ages. Created by Melbourne music producers Rebecca Charlesworth and Joseph Brady (aka Music Vs Physics), these apps create a sound base for many of the concepts involved in electronic music production.

The way people write and create music has undergone a renaissance over the past decade.
My First Studio is about reflecting this in how we teach our children to think about music making.
